Oh what a weekend! Yesterday after a marveillous beach day we got the chance to go to the oppening of the Ribeira Market by TimeOut! I am delighted to say that this one is a winner! Although yesterday was the oppening of the first stage of the project, and there is still much to do, it already breaths World class. The selection of restaurants is endless, so the choice was nothing but difficult. First stop had to be Tartaria – the Tartar joint by Dieter Koschina from Vila Joya named the 22nd Best Restaurant in the World by San Pellegrino & Acqua Panna. Afterwords I took a chance on Vitor Claro for the second time and once again I was very happy with my roastbeef and foie gras bijou! A delicious burguer from Alexandre Silva, some guiozas from Asian Lab, a selection of cheeses and pata negra from Manteigaria Silva and last but not least an ice cream from Santini… All this and so much more underneath of a mid century Market roof that is sure to become an icon of Lisbon!
