A hell of a night… literally, as it is usual las noches ibicencas are as hot as they can get, and this was no exception.
We arrived to our reservation at La Oliva at 21.30h and between the shakes of my fan and the reminiscing of last year’s dinner a beautiful pinkish cava sangria landed in our table.
For starters we split a divine Scallop carpaccio, citric oil and quinoa salad with fresh tomato concassé, very chilling.
For entrees I resisted ordering last year’s lamb carré and ordered the sirloin with foie gras and potato pure. He went for the cod loin with asparagus risotto. I cannot honestly say which one was the star in this dinner, only that everything remains perfect and one hopes that it stays this way so that next year we can be swept of our feet again.
I couldn’t fight the temptation so I tried a crispy tulip filled with fresh fruit, mango foam and an icy fresh lemon sorbet.
xo See You In Ibiza?
